Spiritual, mental and physical health is a very important aspect in my life and
teaching. Yoga is an expression to be shared, reflecting the flow and transitions
of life.
In 2002, after several years of personal practice and discipline in Alaska, I became a certified Hatha Yoga instructor through Lynne Minton. Through her enthusiastic style, participation and encouragement I have found my own unique voice and enjoy developing creative sequences to share with my students. In each class, I aim to increase the power of the body and mind through refined breathing, specific asana practices, and distinct visualization techniques. My teaching spans a diverse spectrum from deep stretching, relaxation and meditation to flowing Vinyasa sequences. It is my belief that a consistent yoga practice has the ability to heal, detoxify and electrify the body and mind at the deepest levels.
