Prajna Akasagarbha Workshop with Vajracharya Paul
Born in ancient Indian and Nepali Buddhist practice and evolved more recently in China, Prajna Akasagarbha means, “wisdom hidden in the womb of space”. The wisdom fills the whole space, like a baby in the mother’s womb. The Akasagarbha Bodhisattva’s dharma practice consists of a sequence of 16 mudras (movements) combined with visualizations and a mantra (a sacred Sanskrit phrase learned aloud and then practiced silently). This valuable method quickly increases physical vitality, and brings about rapid spiritual progress.
Vajracharya Paul was ordained and transmits Dharma under the guidance of Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, the Maha Vairocana Dharma King. Paul has been a practicing disciple of Dechan Jueren since 1999, and has traveled extensively with him serving as personal assistant and interpreter in China, the U.S. and the U.K. From 2003 to 2008, Paul lived in China studying and traveling as Asian Representative of the World Buddhist-Hanmi Association. He is currently abbot of the Diamond Wisdom Meditation Center in Fairbanks.
